Three parts of
a working network.
A rack upgrade, fiber link and wireless deployment solve different problems. Start with the equipment and the users affected, then define the installation and checks for that part of the network.
01Racks, switches and cabinets
For equipment replacements, relocations and expansions, review rack space, power availability, uplinks, patching and access to the network room. Physical work can include equipment mounting, port identification and connection changes. Your IT team retains control of configuration and credentials unless a different responsibility is agreed. Document device locations, affected ports and connectivity checks for handover.
02Fiber installation and testing
Fiber work connects network rooms, equipment and other project endpoints. SoFla offers fiber termination, fusion splicing and OTDR testing. Confirm fiber type, connector requirements, strand assignments, existing pathways and endpoint access before the visit. Agree splice records, labeling and the required test traces or measurements so the receiving technical team can identify and assess the installed link.
03Commercial Wi-Fi
Wireless installation starts with access-point locations, mounting conditions, cable routes and switch-port power requirements. For offices, retail and other commercial sites, coordinate AP installation with the team managing the wireless controller, network settings and access credentials. Record installed device locations and identifiers, then check connectivity against the agreed site requirements. Coverage and capacity depend on the building, equipment and design; no blanket coverage promise is implied.
